Qualifications & Experience for faculty positions(For Direct Recruitment)
Assistant Professor: Rs.12000-420-18300* Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years teaching/research/forestry/industrial experience.
Associate Professor: Rs.16400-450-20000* Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years’ teaching/research/forestry/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Professor: Rs.18400-500-22400* Ph.D., with first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years’ teaching/research/forestry/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor. Depending upon the qualifications and experiences, the applicants, if selected, may be offered suitable faculty position (Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor). *Pre-revised pay scales.
