Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 20th May, 2012 in accordance with the Rules published by the Department of Personnel & Training in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated 4th February, 2012.

Note:
- Applications are now invited for the Preliminary Examination only.
Number of Attempts:
- Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination.
Age Limit:
- Age 21 to 30 years as on 1st August, 2012,
Application Fees:
- Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/PH Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee)
- And Other Candidates: Rs.50./- rupees
How to Apply?
- Candidates are required to apply online using the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in .Pay the application fees through Net Banking or through Branch of SBI by Cash.
- The applicants are advised to submit only single application.
